Thsi is Etzel's Speed Classic Watson Roadster, straight out of the box. The underside of this one is signed by the guy who drove it. Rodger Ward was everything you would want an Indianapolis 500 Champion to be...He was kind, nice, generoius of eith his time and he had time for everyone. I once walked through the garage area at the Speedway with Rodger and he took time with everyone that stopped him. It took us an hour to get out of there! I'm glad I got to build one of these for him. He was a great guy!

Geez, Russ, not sure why no one has commented on this one. It's a gorgeous build and I'm sure Rodger is happy with his, too! It's another of those darn Etzel kits that i just couldn't afford at the time. Man, he did greeat kits. Wish he kept going. If we ever get some resin conversion pieces it will be one of the first I do with one of my AMT Watsons.

I was just looking at some pictures of that car. Man, that was a good looking car. I'll have to put this one on my ever growing list too!
