Here's my latest, Jack Hawkworth's 2014 Indy 500 ride for Brian Herta Motorsports. I think this was one of the sharpest liveries in the race. While he finished 20th in the 500, a fine 3rd in the second race at Houston was enough to catch AJ Foyt's attention, and AJ signed him for the 2015 season, along side Sato. Unless AJ finds a new sponsor, Jack's ride won't be nearly as striking this year. The build was straightforward - took it apart, ground off the rear wing endplates on the Greenlight donor car, stripped it, primed, then painted everything black. The decals on the shark fins are there, but when I asked to eliminate the black sections of the decals, some of the white lettering was removed as well, making them unreadable. None of the green striping was provided on the decal sheet, so I had to make them all. Front wings, front wing endplates, and undertray pinstripes were all hand cut. The curved sections on the front of the undertray were made using a compass with an exacto blade replacing the lead. As is often the case, the decals for the left sidepod were too small, so I had to adapt a spare set of right side decals to fit on the left. Tedious, but necessary. The fuel filler and exausts were made using my tubing trick, with the decals stacked to achieve the desired result, and the seatbelts are from a NASCAR sheet.

People have been really high on Hawksworth and it will be interesting to see if he can elevate AJ Foyt Racing in 2015. The decals you made blend in great and elevate the finished product. Looking forward to JV's car.
