Finished this up today while waiting for the paint for his Indy GP winning car to be delivered. Still working on the helmet too.

Very nice, was watching a video on Racer Mag's channel a few months back. The engineer on this car said you work on the car then late in the race take out some rear wing and hope your driver can hold on! Ironic, since I already knew he ended up in the fence after the last stop.
The car looks sharp and the yellow Senna tribute lid will really pop on the white car. Excited to see Simon in a Penske car this year, looking forward to your Indy GP build, too.

A+ Awesomeness! With a capital A.
Forest Lucas is sure a good guy for sponsoring all forms of motorsport!

Nice and clean. Even with all the sponsor decals, this livery reminds me of the old days.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I've started on the Indy GP winner. This pretty much took all day to mask after taking breaks to go grocery shopping and a trip to the park with my son. Using a new fine masking tape. We'll see how it works tomorrow when I paint it.

Very cool! Great work on the masking job, as well. I really liked the way this car looked on track. The colors seemed to pop more than they do in the pictures of it

Amazing dude. Might be the best paint work I've seen from you so far!

Wow, that's excellent! Probably your best work, IMO!
Is the white/orange striping decal or paint? The photos above look like its paint, but it looks perfect (much like when I "cheat" and use decals)

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm super happy with this one. Agree with you, probably the best car I've made so far. The majority is paint. Had to add some vinyl to cover up some bleeding. I've been infatuated with custom helmet painting lately and am trying to incorporate some techniques into my painting. Gonna really test it on my next Indycar build. Will try Sage Karam's Indy 500 ride. Not sure when I'll get to that though.
