Updated pictures.....this one was done....a number of years ago....
A lot of people say the first ground Effect Indycar was the Chaparral 2k....but it wasn't....the PC-7 was the first to race with ground effect side pods attached to the old PC-6 at the spring Phoenix race in 1979.....The Chaparral 2k's first race was the 1979 Indy 500.
