This is a step by step on how to post pictures on this forum using imgur.com/ which IMO is a very easy photo hosting site to use.....I just signed up a few mins ago.....and I can already tell you its very easy to use.
Take note this might not be the exact way you will be able to do this as everyone has a different camera, different computer, different operating system....on and on...so I'm going try my best to do this in a generic way.....if anyone has anything to add or disagree with my examples here let me know I want to work this out to be the most efficient how to.
This example will be with Windows 7
STEP 1.
This step is going to depend on your camera setup, computer setup and so on.....
Take your picture
Either take your USB cord and plug it into the front of your computer box which the logo looks like this
or take your card out of your camera and plug it into the computer box and it usually says SD/Mini/MMC/RC/Plus/Mobile were you need to put that little card in.
depending on your setup you might have a window that pops up asking you what to do just dont worry about that.
STEP 2
Go to imgur.com/
Setup an account
VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
After you are done filling in your new passwords
go up to upload images
VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
Then you need to go over to the left and find COMPUTER - because what you plugged in is located in the computer section.
It's not necessary going to look like this but you will either have a little USB plugin or removable disk....since I plugged in my SD card it's under removable disk F
Then select your image.
VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
Your images will take a few seconds to upload which it will show the tradition loading bar when its doing the process.
go down to the section of code and right click to copy to your clipboard.
come over to the forum and start a new thread or post and right click and PASTE your {IMG] code.
The IMG code that you just pasted on is telling the forum to go over to imgur and make your picture show up over here.
If you have any questions.... fire away......we have a lot of smart folks on here that will know the answer.
If you have your own way of posting pictures go ahead and show how as it might be more beneficial than my example for someone else to understand.
and if you do everything right you show have a great looking picture to show off!
