The following are 3 roadsters from the 60's.
1962 Parnelli Jones 1963 Roger McCluskey 1964 Jim Hurtibuse
I used a 1963 Parnelli Jones roadster to make all 3 of these cars. On the 1962 & 1963 car I had to redo the hood as these cars did not have the front scoop on them. On the 1964 cars had to add the front scoop.
These cars are not easy to work on but I think they came out pretty good. Decals are from Michael and Gary.

I like how modified these are so that they all look different despite coming from identical donor cars. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Cool stuff!! Who makes the donor models, and how hard were they to take apart? I've only found 2 cars with the same body style. 1963 Parnelli Jones and a 1964 Mobil Car that looks like Foyt's. Not sure who makes them but I find them on ebay from time to time. There are some now but are too expensive. I won't pay more than $20 for one, They are extremely hard to take apart. In fact I've never been able to do so. You can take radius rods, exhaust pipe etc off and the wheels and tires. Be extremely careful when you do this as they break easily.
