Sage Karam in 1/64

Here's Sage's 2014 Indy ride. He qualified 31st, but drove a smart race and finished 9th, the second highest finishing rookie behind Kurt Busch. Isn't he the youngest driver (19) to ever compete in the 500? I know I've got shoes older than him. The build was fairly straightforward, except for cutting the decals to fit around the front suspension - it's always a crapshoot as to whether I've spaced the holes for the lower A arms properly. I've tried making a template, but it doesn't always work. I never know until I apply them. As a result, I've gotten a lot of experience modifying wet decals, then reapplying them. I usually have to use some diluted Elmer's glue to get them to conform to all the bends and curves. Boyd's Aluma Yellow Pearl was the closest match to the yellow on the decals, so that's what I used for the basecoat.

Most likely yes. I don't expect Greenlight to get them right.

Also how about making some 1:64 bodies.  Lotus 38, Chapparal, etc.
How many would we have to buy to make this work.
I would probably buy at least 1 Lotus' and 5 Chapparals.

I'm sure rocspo would buy some also.

When it comes to 1/64 it's time investment not money......I have a total of 3 people that have bought my 1/64 bumpers.....but it's been worth it as you guy buy a lot. But when comes to one off cars then it's not..... as it would prolly take a number of months to make a kit.

I like 1/64 but I'd have to sell more than 30 cars to get me motivated to knock myself out..... (basically for any thing).....unless it's that silly Metal cal spl. gift for Craig that turned into a strange deal.

Lance is correct. Even though all my resin bodies (1/64th) are made for slot car chassis', it takes a lot of time to get this scale even close to looking correct in scale. Although, the guys doing the static models makes it easier to get the sidepods low enough to get accurate. That is the only problem I deal with, is getting the sidepods to look right and still fit over a slot chassis.
