With this talk recently about scuffing bodies game me a good excuse to bring out the 1957 Novi and get the body nice and dull for primer. But before scuffing up the body I always spray oven cleaner on all my resins just in case there is mold release and I also clean with dishwashing soap as well. See how this body is nice and smooth with a reflection.....thats bad, paint will not adhere to that at all. I used 3M Scrub Pad Before primering I will give the body another scrub down with dish washing soap.

That's pretty much hoe I do it, Calvin. But I wet the pad and use some kitchen cleanser to help out a little. Then scrub it with a toothbrush.
