I have been in and out of building F1 models since the 70s. My first kit was the Tamiya 1/12 Yardley McLaren. in 1974 or before. I have quite a few 1/20 scale kits and some 1/24 as well. I have attended F1 races in Watkins Glen, Long Beach and Detroit. I have decided to start building some of my stash before I get to old to do so. I hope to gather some info about some of the kits I want to build so I can avoid as many pitfalls as possible.

Welcome. You'll never be too old to build, you'll just need more light and more magnification! That, and putting things where you can find them without having to remember where you put them. Great to have you on board.

Wherebouts in Hoosierland are you from? I was stationed at Grissom AFB in the early '80's and I really liked it there.
This is good and knowledgeable bunch.....Enjoy!
