Cool kit. Some of the powers at be at Italeri must have some pull for I think the subject matter is a bit odd. A 1950 Alfa Type 158 or a Maserati type 250 would have been way cooler IMO. Hell even a 1931 Alfa Type C8 would be great.
If I ever build one it will be for a friend who has a 1932 Type C8. He won Pebble Beach with it around 2008 or so. He has a Type C6 as well........ nice problem to have eh?

Back in my 1/12th days I really wanted this kit. Italeri obviously acquired the molds from Protar.
Maybe they will later produce the FIAT 806? Very cool.
