Finally got around to drawing up a correct suspension and correct intake for the 72 McLaren. The 72 had a very unique and complicated suspension and a shorter intake than found on other Offy powered cars like the Eagles. These parts work with my resin Offy/gearbox, or with the AMT Offy/gearbox (although you will probably get a better fit with the resin Offy as it has an additional spacer between the engine and gearbox, making it a bit longer) This set includes exhaust/turbo, short intake stack, plumbing from turbo to intake plenum, rear hubs/brakes, 2 rear sway bars, driveshafts, lower suspension arms, upper suspension links (2 sets), shocks/shock mount crossbar, and turbo charger brace. The items that are repeated are due to their potentially fragile nature - I’d rather you have extras in case of breakage than breaking and placing an order for one or two parts. www.shapeways.com/model/2865413/72-mclaren-add-ons.html?li=aeTabs

These look great. This may seem a stupid question, but do these come with any placement instructions?

Oh John, its not that hard! (I'm just giving you hard time ) If you can place the shapes into the holes you can place the shapeways on to the Offy!

Thanks, these are very helpful in a number of ways. A picture is worth a thousand words after all.

Aarrgghhh!! Curse you guys (Michael, Calvin, Lance, Rick, etc) for creating and making all these fabulous items that I drool over and crave like the worst drug addict, but can't afford with my modeling budget! All the times I have browsed your websites and these forums, crying about the Lotus 38's, Penske PC18's, detail parts, decal sheets, etc, etc that I want so badly but can't afford... Not to mention all the Indycals sheets, Lotus 29 upgrade, Old Calhoun upgrade, Chapparal 2K and so on that I've already bought but haven't been able to get to (although I have actually started the 2K and Old Calhoun models , but with my glacial build pace will probably take until 2020 to finish... : And now Michael releases the perfect set to use with the unbuilt Bill Jorgenson McLaren M16B conversion kit that I have in my stash! His decals for the Donohue winner was one of the first sheets I bought (to replace the old Cady sheet I've had since I bought the Jorgenson transkit) after discovering Indycals several years ago, but now it's even worse because of this new offering! Curse you for the suffering you put me thru with your cruel teasings!! Of course, that's totally overlooking the fact that I likely will never be able to build the stash I already have. But it doesn't stop me from wanting the great stuff you keep thrusting at me! Hope you sell a bunch, so you never stop taking care of our pitiful needs. I'll keep buying my occasional lottery tickets hoping I'll hit the model-financing jackpot some day , and buying what I can when I am able to. You guys are awesome! Thanks, Cameron
