The main part of the chassis with quite a bit of work to do still.

Back half of the chassis. It is required that a solid shaft be run so this is quite a bit larger than it should be.

Extensive chop has already been done to the after market chassis already. More will need to be done.

Daytona Pro-tracker? I like your belly pan. Yeah.....it comes off pretty easy. They will be Goodyears before long. I have had to chop the (expletive deleted) outta that pan.

I'm not feeling too good about the static kit.....I have made some fairly serious errors and am not sure if I will continue it The slot car will go forward.

Even though your not happy with the static kit......if it was me I would just go ahead and finish it up as a basic simple curbside....a finished kit is better than nothing at all.....IMO it will still look great!
Don't give up.....try to work it out.

Hello all. Here is a long overdue update on the R/C/ slot portion of this build. I decided to do something a bit unconventional with this and go with a full carbon ("unpainted") body and limited sponsor decals. The front end has been all but completed and just needs some paint. I have modified the chassis extensively and it will reflect an interim 88C / 89P type look. Although no such chassis ever existed I thought it would be interesting to try in.

Big thank you to INDYCALS for the 88 C Porsche decals. They are perfect for this build.

The only "painted" part of this kit will be the engine cover.

Is it black or CF? Either way, it looks nice.

Is it black or CF? Either way, it looks nice. Jordan The engine cover is semi gloss black and the rest of the car is in C.F.

For all intents this slot version is done. Just a few touchups and a driver will finish it off.
