I guess i'm the new guy lol. I joined because I bought a go cart with a 1979 Al Unser body on it and needed some help restoring it.

Welcome!
Whats wrong with it?
My uncle has that body in his shop and I have no idea why he doesn't give it to me as he knows I'm Chaparral 2k fan. LOL

Chaperral2K i joined because of you actually. I did a google search of chaparral cars to see what i have. The body is is ok shape but needs some fiberglass work done. I was just trying to find out who made the body, what year, and where do i find decals or how would i go about saving the stickers on it? There was a label under the nose but the ink is long gone.

I don't know, I think it would take a custom vinyl decal shop to replace those decals....It would also take someone knowledgeable about fiberglass work to personally show you.
Its kinda surprising to me that body would be fiber glass I thought it would have been just a plastic injection.
Like I said I have an uncle that has the same body but its up on top of a bunch junk and I have never seen it up close (I think he trying to keep me away from it - plus we dont even live in the same town anymore so I dont get to see it hardly ever)
