This is my latest WIP. It’s Sam Hanks 1957 Winner. I got two bodies many years ago from Bill Jorgensen and that was it. I robbed the suspension pieces from an old AMT Watson, and resin cast the hubs. I’ve got this one just about ready to start finishing but I have no grill or windscreen. I noticed on Michael’s website he has what looks like a photo etched grill plus a windscreen. I’ve contacted Bill to see if he has both but so far no luck.

I don;t recall Bill ever had any photoetched pieces for his kits or at least that any I have ever purchased and I have quite a few from at least 10 years ago or so. it certainly does look like a photo etch grille on Indycals site though.

It's a cool looking car as for the grill after looking at the build on the Indycals site to me it look's like he filed in the opening and used a decal.

Back in the day I experimented with photo etching and I did do a grill for that kit. But I gave up on photo etching years ago as it was too time consuming and too messy. I don't even have an extra grill for my 58 winner.
