I'd love to type more but I need my hands to hold my jaw in place while I look at these pics. Love the metal work and the engineering in this.

Thanks for the comments, guys! You make it fun to post up here. Holy Crap. So, I assume that the coilovers will be adjustable? Craig, if it works out the way I hope, they will be!

That's really looking goood ART!! How do you like working with solder? Do you use heat sinks in the "close to one another" area's?

Gary and Gary,
Thank you!
Gary D., yes, sometimes I do use an alligator clip as a precaution, but in most instances I haven't needed it. And I love working with solder and brass. This project really let's me feel like I'm fabricating a real car. I only wish I had the skills and resources to do so.

The only thing you may be lacking is resources.

Frank, Rusty, Duane, Thanks for the comments! I've got a bit of a block on how to accomplish building the birdcages for the rear suspension. I have both Dirt Modeler pieces they offer, but they're a little different than what I need where the pickup points are. So until I figure out how I'm going to handle that, I thought I would try something else. I reshaped the tail a little, as the diecast piece has some material in the front that a real tail doesn't have and it prevents it from mounting up against the cage as it should. So I ground it down with a bench grinder and filled it in with filler.

I also started to modify the hood a little. I have big mods planned for the area that covers the engine, but the nose needed a little reshaping first to match the shape of the real car. I added some styrene to help guide the shaping process. More to follow... thanks for looking!
