Do these dirt cars use any sort of seat padding, other than their own kidneys? It would be a shame to cover that great looking seat!

I had a broken link that's fixed now, so you can now see that my brother's seat has minimal padding, so fortunately, a lot of the seat will still be exposed. Thanks for looking!

That PE seat is perfect for your brother's seat. Nice to know that will end up being seen in the final piece. Fantastic work, Art.

If you look up Professional Model Builder in the dictionary - Art's picture is right by it.

You're going to have to put a coin or something in your photos, so we can tell if that is really a scale model or the real thing with brass-colored paint!

You and Gary are giving me a real inferiority complex, Art. Well, no need for that, Craig. I've seen your work, like the Packard Cable Special. You got skills! But thanks for the compliment...

Thanks for the kind words, Art, that means a lot, coming from you. However, building, or modifying a kit is one thing. What you, and Gary have done, and are doing, is a whole other world. These builds, and some others we have seen lately really knock me off my feet. It is so great to be a part of this group. Take Care Craig

Thanks, guys! I should have some updates soon. My last session at the bench was spent correcting some of the cage geometry to get the fuels cell to fit correctly, so there's nothing realyl to show yet. That's the nice thing about brass, I could just unsolder a few pieces and move them.

A small update- not much to really show because I have spent most of my bench time reworking a few bars on the chassis to get it a little more accurate and eliminate some fit issues with the tail tank later. But I did get some work started on the suspension. The torsion arms from Dirt Modeler that are actually anti-roll bar arms on this build have a bigger hole than I can use, so I drilled it out and then used some tube to produce a smaller hole. Drilled it out so the tube fits. Before and after...
