Hello Guys,
This might be a dumb question.
Can anyone tell me how may point harness was used in the late '90s early '00?
Thanks for the help

I'm not sure what form of racing that you're asking about, but I believe as far as Indy cars are concerned they would be refer to as "6 point". Two shoulder straps and two waist straps attaching to the center buckle. Here is where it gets a little confusing for me: the last two points are the crotch straps that loop through the waist straps. At some point in F1, the crotch straps had separate tangs that inserted into the center buckle. I find that's an area that I have to research on each car that I'm replicating and then have to be careful if my photos are from "classic car" races where the belts might be updated or using another brand. If you're researching a specific car, ask away. I'm sure someone here will be able to help.

I really think it was 6 point but I am trying to find some pics or videos to say for sure. I believe the driver figure in the Revell Reynard has a molded in 6 point harness.

Hi Jordan, This is why I am asking. One of the Revell kits had a decal with a 4 point. I have seen several WIP here and be it 4,5 or 6 they all turned out awesome. I would like to be as accurate as possible so any help is appreciated.
