Over the course of the last week, I've applied the decals to the Watson. Chris Etzel's instructions caution you to stay with the decals and work them with the less powerful Micro-Set rather than Micro-Sol. Be patient and just follow the directions, and you should get good results. It's amazing that they settle down as well as they do over what are very complex compound curves. But things look pretty good. I was worried about the "Ken-Paul Spl" lettering on the left side of the hood because of that bump, but it laid down nicely. In spite of my best efforts I wound up with a wrinkle on the right side number circle. That happened overnight while the decal was drying on the last application of Micro-Sol (uh-huh....). I had a bubble right behind the "4," so I added a little Micro-Sol, and wound up this way. I don't think I can fix it, so I'll live with it. Once I clear-coat the model, that should disappear somewhat. Drew Hierwarter warned me that the right side would be the most difficult, so if you're planning on building one of these, take heed. Here's the right side. I'll let these dry for a few days while I'm polishing little metal parts, then scrub the decals gently to remove any residual decal solvent. Once that dries I'll clear coat the body. Terry

Okay, where did that fisheye in the tail come from?

Aw, it's easy enough to fix, I guess.
