Hi everybody!
First of all, I apologize for my english... I'm from Italy (Palermo, Sicily) and I make model cars since I was 13 (a lot of mess) and more seriously since I was 28... now I'm 51. My job is interventional cardiologist. I have no much time for modeling, I didn't build many models but I have lots of kits to build..
My main interests are Targa Florio race, the great road race that took place in Sicily from 1906 to 1977, and the classic singleseaters... In these months I began a history by models of the 1500 cc Formula 1 (1961-1965).
I discovered this nice forum while I was searching references for my models... I hope to achieve to post some images and some "work in progress" of my models, in order to get tips and tricks from the experts...
Arrivederci!

this is the box of the first model of this serie: the 156 "Sharknose" Ferrari, F1 World Champion in 1961 with the US driver Phil Hill (this was an image posting test, but it's really the beginning of the history...)

Many thanks to all!
In the last years I built several GT and Prototype cars that raced Targa Florio, but I have many F1 and singleseaters' 1/24 kits from South Eastern Finecast, Merit, Heller (also in Japanese Union re-edition), IMC, AMT, Monogram etc.

Boy did I pick a good time to come back and see Bepe's introduction. I've been off trying other things, but here we have another 1.5 Liter Fan! Yea! I'm from hot , dry Sonoma, California. The Finecast kit is not bad considering when it was first released in the dark ages. I have one myself...started of course. I am like you in that I have focused my models on the 1.5 Liter years when "Gentleman Driver" meant something still. Welcome my friend. Watch for a build coming up soon...a 1.5 liter F1. Hi All!
