1/24 scale Roadster tires - for Monogram Kurtis

New, in stock - brand new, 1/24 scale wheels and tires for the Monogram Roadster. This is a 12 piece set, four tires, four wheels and four compression plates. Wheels car reversible just as they were in real life. Front tires have two treads, rear tires have three, all tires have full raised lettering. Far more accurate and detailed than the kit wheels and tires and while only slightly larger than 1/25 scale options that may be used, that difference up to 1/24 is a visual one and gives a more authentic appearance to the finished build.

That said... Calvin will be coming out with a full upgrade kit for the Monogram Roadster and it will include these wheels and tires - so if you want the full upgrade, wait for his offering. If you just need the wheels and tires then get them from me.

If you have any Kurtis kits already done....swap out the small wheels for the correct scale ones! It wont take that long....then it will give you an excuse to post pictures of it on the forum again!

The prep work on these tires is very little just like Michael said a nice coat of your favorite flat black for tires and thats it! No pin holes, I did not use mold release. (I'm getting to the point were I don't use mold release on anything)

Yep, I just washed the tires, and shot them with Dupli-color universal flat black - no primer and they look great. Well, I did need to do a little bit of sanding and scraping to get the wheels to fit smoothly but that's normal.
