There really doesn't seem to be any place to show off sports/racing cars, so I thought I'd put these here for you all to see. More racing--just enclosed wheels.... Scale Coachworks 1964 FIA Targa Florio--driver Dan Gurney Revell 1963 Corvette (fictional A-Production racer)--this is actually a lightly modified snap kit LeMans Miniatures 1970 Porsche Langheck LeMans (think I might have posted this already)--this is a built model produced by a company named "Spark." Just about the time I discovered these, the company quit building 1/24 models. Aardvark Models 1/25 1960 Maserati Tipo 51 "Birdcage"--these were produced by Andy Martin, but are out of production. This is a "factory-built" model, too, and depicts Jim Hall's car at the 12 Hours of Sebring. This is one of those projects I dig out and work on for a while, then put away again. It's an AMT '61 Corvette in the markings of the Washburn Chevrolet Corvette driven by Bob Bondurant. The actual car was a '59, but I thought it'd be fun to use the newer 'Vette because I like the lines. Actually needs very little work to finish. I should--and in case you ask, yes, this is the same color as the Watson I'm working on. Terry

Beautiful job on all of them. I love sports cars too, but like you I haven't found a forum that really caters to them. I'll bet we have some more excellent sports car builders in this forum.

Good models are good models with or without fenders! Real nice work there Ziggy. Would these be the Fujimi kits? Sandy

Ziggy...
Walk away from the Mallard, then after a short time...pick it up. I have had several resin kits try my skills to the max....the Miller 91 was one of them, After a while, I went back and found it could be fixed...you will too
Best to you

All are very nice. I am presently working on a few Sports Racing cars, also.
My major problem is now finishing projects! I get them to a point and then leave them for a while. I have no clue as to why I have been doing that recently....... It has actually gotten much worse since I retired in June. I now have the time, and it seems that I am just not working *smart*.
