All three are very nice in their own way. The white one reminds me of a rocket with that big tail fin. The other two are just monsters with their various bulges, in contrast to their contemporaries. I think they will all command attention once on display as there is just something about these Novis!!

Q: what color did you use for the wheels? can I assume it was to duplicate Dow 7 coating? Yes, I can't really tell you the color I used as I just did a one off mix job with some silver and gold and brushed it on.

Did any of these cars survive? Jim I believe Tired Iron is still around? On page 1 of this build, I link to pictures I took at the Museum at Talladega about a year ago of the Tired Iron (or a sister car). Jordan

According to the Roadster Roster, the #6 Novi is in the Unser museum. This is usually a pretty accurate list.

Calvin, I owe you big time!!! Thanks to your post about the repair job you did on the nose of #75 "Tired Iron," I think I am going to be able to save the paint job on my Joe Leonard '72 Parnelli. I had just finished putting on all of the decals and added a coat of Model Master Ultra Gloss Clearcoat. I sat it on my table to dry and @$XZ??: if I didn't get two star-like bubbles on the front of the nose. I sanded them off and painted with a brush. Good but not great. Sanded again and used the Calvin technique of applying the paint with an Exacto knife. I will sand again but it sure looks better. So, thanks to you, your skill and experience, and sharing on this forum. Jim

No problem....sometimes simple techniques get overlooked and never mention.
That's kinda one of my goals for this year is to make my own WIP's more beneficial for others with more technique talk and less selfish showing off post.
So I bring you...
