A shame I missed most of the first half but the last half was great stuff. F1 still suffers from being way too hard to pass but it makes those that can pull off passes that much more special. There were some real aggressive passes on the outside. I was rooting for Lewis to pull off a seemingly impossible pitroad to win race but the podium was a solid result. Man the fight among the top four at the end was highly entertaining even if I'm not a big Red Bull fan.

Some real good racing, for sure. Alonso continues to show that he is the best there is IMO. Hamilton is learning what it's like to drive for a German team, when your teamate is German (Mark Webber could have told him). After all those years of being the favorite son at Mclaren, it's hard for me to have much sympathy for Hamilton. Vettel continues to show that he is not as good as he thinks he is. I fear that all the technology in those cars is going to get somebody hurt, or worse sooner or later.

It was another fantastic race despite the sound of those engines. I think those top 6 finishers demonstrate why they are among the best in the world. Agreed that Alonso is special but Hamilton is also demonstrating some serious skills IMO. I really enjoy Daniel more and more. A real talented charger who has really shown Seb up a lot this season. Thought Rossberg sounded like a cry baby about not letting Hamilton to allow him to move on. How about closing up on him before the crybaby act? Looking forward to watching the end of this season!

It was a great race, one of the few F1 races of recent years that I didn't fast forward through any of it. The rain, Hamilton and Magnuson starting on pit lane, it all added up to one entertaining ride. Daniel R (how is that spelled again?) is a breath of fresh air and, IMO is showing how much of Seb's dominance was the car. Vettel is looking more like Jenson Button and less like Michael Schumacher every week. And Alonso is magnificent, even if I don't much care for him.
And Hamilton's drive was nothing short of spectacular. Holding off an equal car with much newer tires was impressive. And what is Nico's problem? Supposedly no team orders, both going for the championship, don't tell me that Nico wouldn't have done the same if roles were reversed. I only saw one really good move on Lewis by Nico, and he got run wide, like every other F1 driver does. Man up and beat him if you can Nico.
Oh, and your dad lucked into his championship.

I'm not as down on Seb as some obviously are but RBR has finally gotten themselves two top drivers (I never was high on Webber). Seb's outpaced his teammates regularly at all stops throughout his F1 career that I haven't held the 2014 slump against him. That said, it will be interesting to see how his teaming with Ricciardo plays out long-term. Winning four titles can dull the hunger to work that extra bit to stay ahead but being shown up by a new teammate is what Vettel needs to be sharpen up if he is to prove to be an legendary F1 talent long-term.
