And the paint verdict is in: Tamiya Chrome Yellow TS47 for the main body.
Front wings, front wing endplates, and the fins on the under tray.... Testors Model Master Lacquer, Daytona Yellow!

Yes! Lets party! You guys might have heard Camel yellow, but that is simple too dark or too much Orange....Chrome yellow is just about right. So guess what! EASY Paint job time! I cant wait! I'm going try to start a 2014 Winner WIP tonight!

I'm confused. Tamiya has three spray paint yellows - chrome yellow (bright), yellow (medium), and camel yellow (dark). Right? Because, if so, the #28 recommendation is a brighter shade than recommended for Pennzoil cars. When side by side the #28 always looked darker than the #3?!?!

Nope. TS16 is the brightest. TS34 Camel yellow is the darkest. TS47 Chrome yellow slots right in between them. TS16 for the Pennzoil car (there was no pearl to the yellow like some Pennzoil cars have had). TS47 for the #28. And if anyone does Marco's car, the Testor's Daytona yellow is proper for that car (that car is on my 'I'm thinking about it' list).

Just think of this Jordan. The top three finishers go in order - Darkest yellow TS-47(DHL), medium yellow TS-16 (Pennzoil), pale yellow daytona yellow(Snapple)
