now calvin better get ready… I'm trying. I've been doing a lot of updating on the new DW12 kit. I think it will be worth the wait. Its very close to being dumped in rubber and it will be on its way here very very soon. I got a lot done today.....

How close is the 2014 winner? I have my list of decals to order ready. This one will seal the deal. At the same time, I can't stress enough how awesome it is to have you, Cal, and Lance, along with a handful of others producing the stuff you guys are. As it's been said before, it's a very cool time to be an Indy modeler.
Thanks again, Mike

Hey Mike, just a heads up the only way to get the Jacques Villeneuve order page is through your direct link. It doesn't show up on the "other indy decals" list.

I'm currently working on the radiator side pod block off's and I'm kinda stuck on what to do when it comes to the naca ducts, almost every car has a different type of naca duct setup I couldn't possibly make versions for every type....well I could but I dont want to!

How close is the 2014 winner? You mean this? (and for those not familiar with my printing technique, the magenta color turns red when placed on yellow)

If I remember correctly I used TS47 on the body and front wing then TS16 on the rear wing. Mr. Indycals can correct me if I'm wrong. (Very likely lol)

This is really not much of a question after thinking about it.... You guys are on your own when it comes to what to do with these naca ducts. I will supply the a resin block off. So if you want to carve out your own naca ducts or make a 3D decal (Which I think I will do) I'm trying to make this kit as easy as possible but I cant see myself making and casting 10 different naca duct combos to put in the kit!

Well played sir. Like a magician you are. I noticed you also added the Xtrac decals to it. Any chance you could offer those under your seatbelt section? Also, I don't see that "tag:" decal that was just under the mirror by the driver compartment. They look awesome and I can't wait to give you more of my wife's hard earned money.
Thanks, Mike

Awesome, someone mentioned you were doing the JV set, so I held off rather than being redundant. However, will you be adding the missing decals (Arrow on the FWEPs, Team Pelfrey on the cockpit sides, etc) later on? Sunday Qualifying Race Day

It seems like Fluorescent yellow would work pretty good for the dollar General car. If I can remember correctly this might be first 1/25 model that would require such a color?

Fluorescent yellow would be the best choice as far as paints that are readily available, but it wasn't 'quite' fluorescent.
The 2014 winner isn't even done yet, and apart from the Motegi/Firestone/Lucas on the right engine cover everything else is on the Dollar general sheet (plus some others).
I've been tweaking everything over the last 48 hours, it's not uncommon for the final sheet to have more than is depicted on the website (the artwork on my page is made from the same art as the decals but it is NOT the actual decal sheet).

The Dollar General car is almost a perfect match for Testors Cadmium Yellow Light (4611) Acrylic paint in a bottle.

Im sure you can find cans of Flo Yellow locally. The car looks like a matte, or semigloss topcoat. Whatever looks good to you is all that counts.

For those of you who want to Carbon Fiber your DW12, I am in the process of finalizing arrangements to carry Scale Motorsport Carbon Fiber decals. For right now I will carry the standard twill-on-pewerter and high def composite fiber in 1/24 and 1/20 scale - if the response is good I will expand my lineup.
