It IS a vintage racing Ferrari. The wheels are just partially enclosed.... MG Automodelli 1/24 Ferrari 166 MM Berlinetta as raced at LeMans in 1950. These kits have wonderful photoetched parts, including the wheel spokes, but the resin leaves a bit to be desired. They also made a number of vintage F-1 Ferrari kits, although I think they're no longer in production. Just for fun.... Terry

Very nice model. Neat looking car. Thinking about this and a 250 GTO for example, what a difference roughly a decade makes in racing. Sandy

Nice work! The MG kits are a little rough around the edges but they're just about the only option for 1950's Ferraris. You've done a fantastic job.
