Okay, now it's MY turn to ask about the ancient Aurora kits. How many were there? What were they? How do I git 'em? other than ebay? Or has somebody redone them all in resin? That would be wonderful.

The old Aurora/Best kits turn up on Ebay quite often. They can, with work look OK in some cases. American Racing Minatures, and Gary Doucette offer most of the cars, in resin, and are much better kits. Check them out. ARM has a website, and Gary is Ovaltracklegends, on Ebay.

The old Aurora/Best kits turn up on Ebay quite ofter. Yeah, but for a ridiculous price! I think the collectors of the world see them and try flipping them, over and over again....

That is a very good looking build D.D. I have the 33 winner from Gary Doucette and it's a very cool kit. Haven't got the chance to build it as of yet...but it's on the list. Yeah, but for a ridiculous price! I think the collectors of the world see them and try flipping them, over and over again.... That is for sure Calvin. Sometimes it blows me away at some of the ASKING prices that these people are asking. Most of those people are NOT builders either. Just looking to make dollars...or send ALL their 48 GRANDKIDS to HARVARD or something...LOL

Does anybody make wire wheels that can adapt to this car? I just picked one up for$5.00! Could be a really nice kit with different wheels.

The details, including the wire wheels, don't bother me. I'm more concerned with the overall body shape. I can model the rest. So, how do they look in general? Thanks.
