Watching qualifying for the IGP. Funny to watch Indy cars at IMS running in the rain. Makes for an unusual fast six with Hawksworth and Saavadra. They are Indycars, so I watch. Period.  MJ |

RHR had it then crashed coming off the last turn. Had his 2 fastest laps disallowed for bringing out the red. Still starts 3rd (!) so he must have been way faster.
I wish I could watch the race. Driving from Bay Area to San Diego tomorrow and don't think I'll find it on the radio. :-)

Anybody see the video with Graham Rahal wearing the Google glasses during practice? Pretty awesome vantage point. I hope they figure out how to include this a broadcast someday.

I still don't like standing starts. We are going to hurt someone bad sooner or later. Usually, Calvin, we have to wait until the first turn at a street, or road track, to have a crash. The standing start gives a good chance of having one at the starting line. Indycar seems convinced that we want contact, so the more, the better, I guess. |
