In the midle of the front row was a Kurtis #10 driven by Tony.
Does anyone have a color picture of this car?

Thanks, Russ! I can see it was a sort of turquoise color. There is a good B/W frontal picture of it in the Indy cars of the '50s book with the entire front row. Looks like another project for a Monogram Indy Racer kit. ;D

Thanks, again! Now all we need are good whjeels to go with the Monogram *ancient* Kurtis kit. I love that old kit, but the wheels have ALWAYS left a ton to be desired.....

I just noticed tonight that Bill J used the tires from the Monogram kit (even has the same sidewall markings and are definitely the same size)to make his resin wheel/tires for his Watsons. Exact same tire with new centers added.
To produce the *back side* of the Halibrands which showed when they were flipped around shouldn't take too awful long. I am just strung out doing other things! LOL!!
