Always wanted this car so i finally took the plunge last year. Tamiya kit with studio 27 decals for the smokers decals. I snagged a rare el oso figure that fits this car like a glove with no mods. The car is painted ts-49 and micheals helmet flor red. but the way the picture is taken and the lighting makes them both appear to be the same color which is what the real deal looked like. in some of the pics it looks like maybe the car was painted flor red but its not. I think this helps the case of these cars not being flor red lol. scale motorsports carbon figure was used and then a coat of smoke to die it down some. my main mistake was to not paint the undrtrays red parts and use tamiyas decal. the decal was a bit short and left me with some blacks parts where it should be red but on my f2001 i corrected this.
Plus, this is the car he equaled Senna's win total in and who can forget that post-race interview!?
