What is the correct color on Mike Conway's car this year. I'm looking at the pictures from todays race at Long Beach and the car looks black. Is this correct or is it still dark green? TerryB

I sure would like to build a Fuzzy's car. Anyone else ready to buy decals? I like Ed, I like Fuzzy, and I like Vodka. Interesting that tobacco is banned, but booze is ok, says something about the worlds leaders, don't you think.

Also I think Model masters Emerald Green Metallic lacquer would be the best chose for color. www.testors.com/products/573333With Tamiya TS-45 Pearl White but I'm not to sure about the 'flat' gold BTW before I get anymore emails.... Yes I'm actually working on more 1/25 DW-12's I would like to have more done by next month.

Craig I have all of the artwork and will put it together on a sheet if someone like Gary or Michael wants to resize/color separate to make the LBGP winning car. I think Michael is pretty slammed, so Gary at GWSDecals.net may be the best bet.

Outstanding! I would be up for 2 sheets of Ed's speedway car.

Outstanding! I would be up for 2 sheets of Ed's speedway car. What could get any better? You like Indycars, Golf, Vodka, Ed Carpenter, superspeedway racing, and Classic Racing Resins' DW12 kit!

Outstanding! I would be up for 2 sheets of Ed's speedway car. I emailed Gary I would love to give Ed and Mike (ECR became a customer of mine last month) a LBGP winning car if someone would be willing to build them. I'd supply the donors and cover the cost of the decals if Gary is able to produce them from the sheet I give him.

IMO the cars look much better in road config.

Hmm, looks like the golfball texture is no more in 2014.

Yep, it is gone.
Sounds like there is enough interest for me to start laying out the sheet. I hope to be able to finish it this week. Waiting on one last decal from Ed's manager, and waiting to hear from Gary at gwsdecals to see if he will sell them to you all.
So -- who wants to build one for Mike and Ed for me? I'd like to give them each one for becoming customers of mine recently. I'll supply the decals and donor cars (can even get the Sherwin Williams paint codes too!) if someone would be willing to build a car for each of them (with full credit to you as the builder).

I would be in the market for road course wings in 1:64th scale. You're on your own on that one. Trying to do 1/64 RC wings out of resin would be almost impossible.

About the road course wings for the next DW12 run: Calvin, I like it! I admit that I am committed to one (and sadly, only one) of your next run, and having to chose between oval and RC would be tough. But a good choice to have.
Also, yes I would be interested in the Fuzzys decals. Again, so many good choices...

About the road course wings for the next DW12 run: Calvin, I like it! I can do it, but I'm still not convinced there is enough interest to spend what would take a week to make and lost of money to invest in. Especially when I got people all the time asking about the Lotus 34, Wildcats, and big bad 1964 Novi's Also the DW12 was the slowest selling kit I have made so far. 30 kits took 1 day 6 hrs to sell unlike the others that were sold in less than 12 hrs or the 30 1982 Wildcats that sold out in combine time of 3 mins.

New products are driven by demand and recent Indy cars don't do well.
I'm hoping Calvin's DW12 changes things
As for Fuzzy's decals - I was reminded by Mr.Peters last night that I have a 2010 Fuzzy's sheet... it was news to me as I can't remember the last time it sold. Same goes for Mike Conway's first LBGP winner. Past history isn't exactly painting a rosy picture for a 2014 LBGP sheet.

I think the success of the 1/25 DW12 resin kit will depend on well the reissue does and how builder friendly I can possibly make it. If I can make it fun and easy to build then the customer will most likely come back for more. Besides Indy 500 winners I really cant see anything else being successful for the DW12.... Unless Mario Andretti comes out of retirement and wins at Detroit.

Gary is in for offering these for sale at 1:18, 1:24 and 1:25 scales! Waiting on a couple of decals from ECR and then she will be ready to go to Gary for more accurate sizing.

What kind of investment, money wise, are we talking to produce the kit with road course wings. I can provide blueprints of the Dallara chassis for reference. I'm willing to front the money and take the risk if they don't sell.

A template for cutting out a styrene would be the most reasonable. Of course the flat parts of the front, rear wing, and Bumpers would have to be resin.
