Very nice, what do you plan on using to put the wheels on? I have one and I think the kit was only for the body and the wheels.

Very nice, what do you plan on using to put the wheels on? I have one and I think the kit was only for the body and the wheels. As I recall, the car was a modified 67 Eagle, JR called it "an old Eagle with new feathers", so If you don't want to do a lot of scratchbuilding, a MPC 68 eagle might be a donor car. It's going to require some work, I'm pretty sure the engine is a turbo offy. I don't have that kit, so I don't know what is included. I do have a couple of ideas, so if you are going to build it, PM me your phone number. Take Care Craig

This car was a 1967 Eagle Ford #78 Friedkins Enterpirses Spl. Driven by Jerry Grant It failed to qualify. In 1968 it was car #71 Stewart Warner Spl, still with Ford power driven by Jerry Titus, Bill Puterbaugh and Bob Harkey, in a game of musical chairs none of the 3 could get the car up to Qualifying speed. In 1969 the car was the Patrick Petroleum Eagle #36 now with a Turbo Offy driven by Johnny Rutherford, Qual. at 166.626 to start 17th, and finished 29th retired with a split oil tank. 1970 with new body work and still with a Turbo Offy and now #18 Rutherford put the car i8n the middle of the front row with a speed of 170.213, just missing the pole. He finished 18th retired with a broken header. In 1971 Rutherford again drove the car still #18 Qualifying 24th and finishing 18th.
