Here's the 1984 winner and again the body from Gary and the decals from Michael.
This car was a PAIN IN THE (expletive deleted) from beginning to the end. I went ahead and finished it but I am not happy with it. I'm sure at some point in the future this car will be redone.

It can't be an easy scale to work in so give yourself a break. Always nice to see a Mears car built With this and the '83 winner, you are getting a nice small scale 500 winner collection! Jordan

I actually have everything done from 1960 to the present except 1980, 1981 & 1982. I have the car for 1959 but just waiting for someone (Michael) to do the decals. Thanks, Terry B

I believe it is HO Scale but remember I'm old and senile. My grandkids say I have a leakey brain after I had my small strokes 8 years ago.

Terry, looking good!!!!! I usually brush paint, so my recommendations prolly are the best way to go. These are the best guys to give spraying advice. Also, to answer any questions. - I don't use release agents for making my resins. That's not to say there aren't the normal resin oils, etc. from the body. - I use 1:1 RTV for mold making, supplies from MicroMark - the resin I use is from a local chem supplier in Chicago, named Eager Plastics. Very similar to Smooth-on but not Smooth-on. - I don't use primer, and brush paint the color directly to the resin surface. - I use Testors enamel paint found in the tiny bottles. - my bodies are made for slot car chassis - most of my stuff is 1/64th scale. Hope all this helps. Here is the '84 I did awhile back;
