It was just the main body for an indy car. You had to come up with everything else: wings, suspension, undertray, interior, etc... this is the car it represented:

That, i'm not sure about. I would suggest asking up in the IRL section.

No, that is a Gforce, Wheldon drove a Dallara. Even if you tried the decals would not fit.

and just to make things more confusing it was technically a Panoz G-Force....then in 2005 the G-Force name was dropped for just Panoz.
But Dan Wheldon drove a Dallara.

could that body do the dan wheldon jim beam car If you do find one available, it is one of Bill's better castings. That said, no, it would not work for Dan Wheldon's car. That was a Dallara. If you can find one of the Hot Wheels 1/24 die casts that were made a few years ago, that would make a good conversion. Sometimes on eBay - today I see one for about 22 bucks. Michael at Indycals has a sheet for this car, but it is in 1/25th, so it may take some finagling. MJ

The IRL started out with generations of cars (bodies and engines) that were supposed to last three years. The first generation was from 1997-1999. You can compare this body to the one that Bill also did of Luyendyk's 1997 winner. I think this particular body was introduced in 2003 and features higher side pods than the earlier versions. It was not uncommon for Bill to sell just the bodies. The suggestion to use inexpensive diecasts for all the other pieces is a good one. I picked up several Menards models for $5 each so continue to look for them. Good luck. Jim
