Cool! You're the first to start a WIP on this forum of this kit! Which one are you doing?

Nice to see the F5000 section taking off. This kit looks excellently engineered and the build seems to be off to a good start. Will be a fun WIP to watch.

I etched into the edges of each radiator and also the intake opening, so I could flow black paint into the groove. looking at small rad behind the front axle, you can see the sharp line between white and black. and here on the top rad. Long view showing the wheels and overall look. I had to cut deeply so the engine cover would fit around the rollbar. And an overall look.

Como? Anyway thanks for putting this kit through it paces. The end result looks so "right". Mine will be even easier because of your WIP. Patrick

I cut the side flash into pieces and applied them separately I measured 15 mm. from the front point and each segment is 4 mm. leaving enough to go on the side of the engine cover. And some more color I'm going to touch up the edges of the segments so the flash looks more continuous.

I've been wondering how do do that slash since this kit was introduced. Thanks for clearing that up for me. It looks great!

Well, here we are. . . And with chief protagonist I never thought I'd have one of these, let alone two. Thanks to Kevin and Michael for the means to make these photos possible. Thanks to all for looking and positive comments.

Well, back in 2000 when I was a little boy watching the Paul Revere 250 in the middle of the night, Speedvision put forth this very question to Brian Redman who was making a rare racing appearance at the time. See the video to find out more....

Raceparke-agreed! "I never thought I'd have one of these, let alone two. Thanks to Kevin and Michael for the means to make these photos possible..."
Beautiful builds and a wonderful thread! I just received the '75 Viceroy from Kevin and hope to order the Redman kit soon. Man, just a few years ago, no Lola's at all (well except for an ancient AFX version!) and now in 1/43, 1/18 and these beauties! Your thread is going to be super-helpful for me when I get down to building. I'll need a lot of help figuring out what goes where and you trail blazed this one for me---thank you!
