Yesterday the ICONIC 12 Hrs of Sebring raced. NBCSports had the first 3 hours but NO OTHER channel showed any of the next 9 hours, this is absolutely disgraceful. If it hadn't been for IMSA.COM streaming it LIVE we would have seen the box score in our Sunday morning news paper. This is just awful for a race that is so historic.

That sucks! Speed TV Canada had flag to flag coverage with a 1/2 hour pre/post race show and is currently doing a 3 hour recap show.

NBCSports replayed it this morning as well but my opinion is still the same...disgraceful it's not important enough for live showing. Sports car racing is treated like the proverbial red headed step child. Whereas NASCAR is treated like a first born.

It's quite ridiculous really. Sebring was packed with fans. Yet at many Nasacre events they move fans about so they can put CGI banners over the empty seats for the TV coverage.

College Basketball is more important than some race on an old airport. Remember back in the good old days of Speedvision when it was cool to have Flag to flag coverage of a sportscar race.....I guess in this day of low attention spans that is not possible for humans anymore.

Odd how up here in Canada we still get flag to flag coverage from the good old Speed TV crew!? There are roughly 30 million people here and I can't imagine more than 2% of the population watched, so Speed TV Canada feels it's worthwhile for less than 60,000 viewers. Sorry if it sounds like I'm rubbing it in

Now they booted the rain delay Nasacre race to rebroadcast the Australian GP that I missed at 2am.
