I'm working on Gary's 33 winner and I had it almost done and went to set the wheels on and I have a severe tricycle problem. What is the proper way to set the suspension up so this doesn't happen? I feel like an idiot that this happened, you'd think I'd know better. But there I go thinking again!!

There are soooooo many factors to setting up suspension that I dont think there is a general way of doing it. If you can just test fit ahead of time..... Depending on what the situation is you might have to oblong one of your wheel opening where is fits onto the axel. or you can do it the Michael P. way of taking your hand an smash whole car down. LOL!

Let's just say that while mine sits on all fours, the right front on my 33 winner has the brake disc mounted way too high for the wheel

If it's not too bad, John, you can flatspot a tire. The method I usually use is, Install either the front or rear as close as you can eyeball it, then block up the body on something ( lumps of clay, strips of wooden sticks, etc) then set the other suspension in place and tack it with a drop of superglue. Then you can take the wheels off, and glue it in for keeps. Take Care Craig

Craig, that's what I should have done, my hindsight is 20/20. Michael, I'm going with your idea, on the right rear. Thanks guys.

Common problem we all face at one time or another John. You could always do a diorama and have the car taking the curve with a front wheel off the ground! LOL Seriously,I have resorted to cutting a wheel off and regluing it off center but tough to do without being seen on an open wheel car. It all depends on how far off it is.
Would love to see the finished model though!
