Hello to everyone! I found this forum a short time ago and was impressed with the friendliness, courtesy and knowledge of everyone participating. I wish I had discovered this forum sooner. I live in Trenton, MI. I build a little of everything, planes, ships, armor and cars. Been doing so, on and off, since the late 50's, . Retired now and have stepped up the modeling pace. Don't seem to be getting to finish Line, so to speak, as quickly as I would like. Too many simultaneous builds going on. Too much of a desire for detail slows down the building process. Plus I have to build a spray booth this winter as everything piles up until warm weather.

Hey Jim Zook!
I figured you must be the gunpilotvet. It's amazing that we live about 1 mile from each other and then communicate by the internet rather than face to face! Good to see you on this board. Hope you didn't have much trouble digging from yesterday's snow! By the way if I didn't tell you good old GLW shut down about 1 week ago. Building Indy cars is much more fun though than fighting BFG and COG drips in the winter time!

Hi Jim,
Welcome! TYhis place is unreal for the information that you can get.
I seem to have experienced some of the same problems upon retirement as you have, but it is all good. ;D
