Ok I know it was not the most exciting car ever raced but i am a Buddy fan. This car has a "glue bomb" history. I found this car at a dirt mall of a flea market as its known. It was in a 3 dollar bin and was all messed up. First off it started life as a 93 mi jack lola road car. It cam with no wings one tire and two rims. The nose of the car was half cut off and the car had drill holes on the back and side pod. The guy that was selling it said it was a strange looking nascar and his son was bored one night and messed it up. So needless to say i thought since metal 1/18 is my thing i would rehab it and make it something cool. This is what 11 months of on and off work can do to a 1993 Lola. I turned it into a 1994 Lola Speedway car. I made a new nose that is longer and lower. The front wings are scratch made styrene as is the rear wing and dorsal fin. i filled in the wholes on the sidepod and leveled them out. on the rear of the engine cover i did the same. I added cameras because i wanted to add them. I moved the popoff valve forward and had to fill in the old on and sculpt it. Painted it up in tamiya bright orange and a blue inner and green outer rear wing end plates. Gary is working on the decals.
