Hello every body,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a welder/fabricator from the Baltimore area. I've been a very big fan of F1 since I was child, and have been getting into Indy a lot since they have stared running the Baltimore GP.
Looking forward to learning from the open wheel modeling masters.

@ Patrick nothing car shaped at the moment, though hopefully I will soon as I have Calvin's DW12 headed my way and once eBay lets me at my money I'll have the Revell RB8 on order. This is my first foray into open wheel modeling despite being an F1 fan for so long, my modeling intrests have until now been primarily 1/72 USN jets.

Rusty,
I'm a pretty new guy myself, but take pleasure in welcoming a new guy from the Mid-Atlantic state. I live across the river, but up in the Blue Ridge not far from Harper's Ferry and Brunswick, MD. Like you, I am into F1 and Indy cars and we have a little group of Indy modelers (three of us) up here who get together once a month. I also wonder if you have been in touch with the Maryland Auto Modelers' Association (MAMA) up near you. One of our small band attends regularly and I will be getting up there soon.
