Here is the only picture I have ever seen of Jim Malloy's '72 Eagle. Outside of the YouTube Video.  Does anyone out there have any other photo's or information about the color, markings, etc. |

I have all the '72 Racing Pictorial magazines and didn't find anything in color. I found a couple in B&W that I can scan for you if you want. The only thing I can suggest is to look for pics of Johnny Rutherford in the car later in the season, might be more likely to find a color pic of him. I did find a B&W pic of JR in it and it looked like the same paint scheme. Good luck!

Car was dark blue with silver trim(the bird) It was the same as the car Mike Hiss drove. The Speedway photo shop would have images that you could buy or call Rom Mc Sweeney at the photoshop, he will be able to help locate pictures. I do have a color shot somewhere, i will try to find. It was a very pretty car.

Any more pic's out there? I found one of Hiss car but it seems as thought the video on YouTube and the second one in this thread the car seems to be lighter almost purple? Here are two more from the Indy Yearbook   |

Page 67 of the Ludvigsen book "Indy Cars of the 70'S" has another picture of the car. Right side from mirror to the nose.
