Does seem a bit off for you to be assembling the engine after paint, how unCalvin of you LOL JK It always depends on the situation. Also, I forgot to take a pic of the little blister in the cowling that I made - for more room for the hand to fit while shifting.

I'll bet doing the pin striping was fun. How was it getting them to behave around the naca duct on the front? It looks great

It is looking really sharp. This one and the Hunt together are going to make a nice mid-70s McLaren duo in your display case!

together are going to make a nice mid-70s McLaren duo in your display case! Unfortunately I dont have one big enough....I have a display case that fits 1/24 cars individually (one of the rotational ones) But when I build 1/20 or bigger they go back into the box to never been seen again.

Calvin, The car is looking great! Michael's decals do work VERY nicely. I'm looking forward to doing my HK toy as Revie's car.

Looks Great, Calvin. David is a really good guy. So, now that you are only doing one at a time, what comes next? You need to keep "your advisor" up to date. Craig

Really beautiful, especially considering the "before" photo. As David would say "Good on ya mate!"

Calvin, as I'm on this forum only from a couple of months, I discover only now this little wonder!
I built a Marui '74 Tyrrell when I was a kid, and I remember well the engine/gearbox "inflated" ensemble...
You did a great job, with a wonderful result!
