  “Pedals are there to smash on them......if you release the gas is just to smash on the brakes in the last second, and if you release the brakes is just to go full throttle”. This and many other pearls of wisdom (“ F**cking goat!™”) were from a famous world rally pilot whose kit is just about to arrive any second from Aoshima, amongst the whole bunch of Fujimi references that keep comming from the Far East. Look closely, as you all know we're talking about our dearly beloved Carlos Sainz and his Toyota Celica ST165 which thrilled us all during the eighties. My god, it's gorgeous!   There's no way!!! There's no way to be peaceful and quiet: the load of Celicas from Aoshima has come and, not only it's gone in a few days (don't panic, another huge shipment is on it's way), but on top of that Reji announces the Carlos Sainz's decals for precisely that kit... But it goes even further, since Scale Productions in still unloading in our warehouse, now with the new rims, as awesome as always. And when you finish drooling with the rims, here comes their transkits, incredibly manufactured but in veeeeeeeeery short runs (some of them even under 15 units), so if you stop a second to breathe it can already be gone... And in top of that, a HUGE list of Le Mans decals from Renaissance... And if that's not enough, the new decals from Racing Decals 43 (do NOT miss the ones for the Daytona Z4)... We catalog ALL of them, make the photographs, inventory the items, write the descriptions, upload to the website and... they're sold out in 15 minutes and we have to withdraw them!  )) You are really great!   Mmmmmmmmmmmmm...The secret of every good stew is quite simple: lots of first-class ingredients. And this week we have a succulent one... Do you want to know the recipe? First add ( to your taste ) a few bunches of the Montecarlo Rally decals by Renaissance, available at your kitchen pantry in a few weeks. Then add three very very fresh pieces of the Alfa Romeo 179 announced by Studio27, cut in 1/20 scale, and lightly fry them with the tasty Model Factory Hiro books about the McLaren. Slowly add the Surtees from This Way Up minced to 1/43 scale and the Ferrari F500 from Tameo (stirring carefully), and finaly spice up with the colourful DTM M3 decals.   23rd on 14th at the 24: the Porsche 917KBack in 1970, in June 14th to be precise, a guardian red bodywork with modern white stripes and number 23 at the sides passed first under the chequered flag at Le Mans circuit. It was none other than the Porsche 917K, with hundreds of horses pushing hard under the hood, getting his well-deserved reward after 24 exhausting hours under heavy rain pushing the limits on each one of the 6860 corners of that race... Now in 2014, in April 30th to be precise, a red box with a modern design and the reference MFH-K400 at the sides arrives to SpotModel wharehouse. Talking about spanish pilots, we also have Carlos Sainz's decorations for the Toyota Celica at the Montecarlo and RAC rallies (...and we're jumping with joy!), and also in the rally department, Studio 27 announces new decorations for the Montecarlo Alpine and the Portugal Rally 037 cars, while Tabu releases two gorgeous decorations for the GTR Long Tail, and Shunko gives the green light to a couple of decals for the Yamaha TZ250 and the 1966 Le Mans Ford GT40.   «The ground was shaking, the car was flying...»Not so long ago I went to the Circuit of Jerez speedtrack, and during the visit I could speak for a long time with one of the track marshals. One of the many questions I asked him was: «What has been the most amazing vehicle you've seen racing in this track?» And he didn't hesitate one second to answer: «1988 Spanish Grand Prix, coming out from corner 6 (Dry Sack), Ayrton Senna going full throttle on the McLaren MP4/4... I've never ever seen anything like that. The ground was shaking, the car was flying...».   Flyyyyyyyyyyyyy !!!!!Scuderia Italia.Lab is more than a small resin kits brand: is the one of the bests in the European market when it comes to resin rally car kits. Who doesn't remember that R5 or the Clio Maxi? Those are two discontinued although avidly searched pieces, and people pay little fortunes for getting one of them. This brand don't have many references, just a few, but the kits they release are REALLY interesting, very detailed and have awesome part listings. During these days, their Group B Toyota Celica TA64 kit have arrived in four different versions, and once again they've left us completely astonished... That's a helluva kit!!!   Look at that (expletive deleted)!! C'mon, you have to admit it: 911 (expletive deleted) turns you on. The guys at Tamiya serves them with the whale tail rear spoiler, and now Reji brings us the butts we were all waiting for: the duck tail and the ironing table of the 934/5, along with some transkits with decals and spoilers to make Le Mans versions. I love these butts!!
