a late suprise christmas present!

in september i finished reading the novi part two by peters and greuter. of course enjoying that one made me look for part one as well but to my dismay found it out of print and very expensive.
after finishing a book on frank kurtis tonight i was back in my office trying to find room to put it when i noticed back at the end of the shelf was what i thought a duplicate of the part two book. i pulled it out only to discover it was part one, a book i had given to my dad in '92 and was given back to me when he passed away in '98. it had been sitting on the shelf with the other books of his i had gotten back such as a 1955 copy of wilbur shaw's autobiography. i guess i wasn't such a bad kid after all!

Don't you just love it when that happens?

GAil cleaned up my computer room while I was off testing in Daytona. When I came back I couldn't find anything, of course. But, I did find 4 books on Indy cars that I had completely forgot! ;D I will find the rest of the stuff I need eventually......... ;D
