My job is to entertain you guys, so here is another WIP! As I watched the 98 Winner dry ( cant touch it time) I had the 2004 winner on my mind.....and you know what that means - another opened project! I've been asked how I keep track of all my projects....well these WIP's are basically my note pad. I'm going to do some fine tuning to the parts marked in red. When doing a resin kit I always like to prep the suspension at the beginning sometime. I find the proper alignment and then glue the wheel covers/hubs on to lock the alignment in place then I don't have to worry about it later on when I glue the suspension on later after the paint job is on. (less possible mistakes) I went ahead and glued the cockpit in.

Keep 'em coming Mr. Machine. Have you been siting on these for a while, waiting for inspiration to start them?
It is really great to have you back. It is inspiring to see what you are up to next.

Thanks! Yeah I have a lot of stuff I've been sitting on.....I have a lot resin kits that I've accumulated over the years. I actually prefer to build resin kits. I get way more excited over them than regular plastic injection kits....I find them kinda boring to do anymore..... But in other news.... I added some milliput to the areas that I wanted to fine tune. The most important part is the extra I added under the front side pod....this Argent Panoz G-Force had this extension under the radiator inlet, you can see it pretty good in this pic. its in bare carbon fiber. There is also a radiator inlet block off. I added some height to the rim of the side pods because the 2004 Panoz G-Force really had some aggressive ones. After the Milliput dries I'll sand and grind it shape. . . . . . . . . Something tells me I wont be getting any kiss from a Girlfriend for building this 2004 Winner.......but WOW! ( I just had to post that!)

I assembled the wings and added some Milliput to the bottom of the nose and glued the trans-axle into the back. It will be heavenly modified later....

Awesome! I would like to convert a Greenlight Panoz to the Adrian Fernandez Quaker State / Tecate car he whipped (expletive deleted) with in 2004! I think it's a paint scheme I could pull off masking...

I think it's a paint scheme I could pull off masking... I'm sure it is....with the right tape and patience it can be done....I've found out over the years the only reason why masking jobs come out bad is not taking your time doing them. Plan them out take notes on how you will do it.

Didn't Greenlight make the 2004 Fernandez?

Well sure enough they did. I was thinking it would be a fun one to do from the decals on up but that would be kind of silly now.

I added some more height to the top front edge of the side pods....they are way more aggressive than I originally thought! I'm currently modifying the rear end as well.....

Any more progress on this one?? Anxiously awaiting. Wrencher I have too many other things going on right now and this is prolly about 15th in line at this point. I wished I could be working on it but I have people banging on the door right now wanting resin kits, tires, and everything.

Oh gosh! I wished someone would take that one away.....Maybe Lance will do it as he says he is coming out with Star of David wheels.....maybe he can do them and put me out of my misery! Besides he would do a better job anyway. Besides I need to get my Ground effect cars re-issued and DW12's.

Does anyone have a good color match for this car? I've seen a few photos of it and none of them really look alike to me. Thanks, Wrencher aka Howard Weaver

I forgot all about this build. I have plans of using Model Master Flame Red but I don't remember what I had planned for the blue. This was back in my glory days of building many cars in one year...everything has since gone to (expletive deleted) lately....
