If it is the old tube glue. I have had good luck with, put the model in a plastic box filled with water, then freeze it.

Luckily this masking job isn't that bad as the black decal line covers over a good amount so the tape doesn't have to be perfectly right on. BTW I'm doing the race day version (White snorkel tip, open noses, and holes in the the left side)

This is going to be a really cool conversion kit. Looking forward to it. Will it have the "Moon" wheel discs that show up in some of the photos? These really need to be in the kit! No. That was the qualifying car and plus the nose had the block off and I made my nose open....I guess if you want a qualifying car you take some styrene and cut out some circles. My kit will have the race day nose, windscreen (with that center section), and tires. With comprehensive instructions.

Just a side note about how I ship things....
I usually pack up orders with in 6 hrs of receiving them and when I do I use paypal shipping service and print the labels here at home and you should get an paypal shipping notification email with a TRACKING number....if you dont let me know.....I don't ship anything secretly or anything like that. I always want you always to be informed of where your order is at all times.
Also I usually ship every day at 10 am PT so if you get your order done before that time it will most likely go out that same day....I don't ship at the end of the day because I live up north and the BIG mail truck comes early in the afternoon to my little post office and picks up the outgoing mail so it wouldn't make no difference if I shipped things out later in the day.
Most of the time you will get your package in 3 days and if you are off the beaten path it will be 4 days.

Yeah dont worry about getting the kit right now as I understand people dont always have money at all times......its kinda hard right now for me to do very much resin casting during the cold months (its like 20 deg right now - resin doesn't work that well below 60) and no I will not cast inside the house. Like I've said many times over and over I plan to some day (Hopefully next year) have all my kits and parts available at all times...forever and every and ever......and ever.... Also next year I plan to change up a lot when it comes to resin and rubber....and also getting white metal parts done professionally.

Yikes! Just four left as of right now.....I'll try my best to take down the "add to cart" button if they do sell out before I wake up in the morning so dont be surprised if you get the page that says sold out.

Just received this set today and I must give Calvin a BIG thank you for making such a nice set for such a reasonable price. Casting quality is excellent and instructions are first rate. Just ordered decals from Michael. Sets like these are going to make AMT Watson's a scarce commodity!

White? cars Does anyone remember reading that Old Calhoun was painted 33 coats of a 'coral' hue ? How do you keep track of 33 coats of paint and how do you count half a coat if it's lunchtime? Calvin could you ask Parnelli about that next time you talk to him?LOL. At least the Dean Van Lines roadster is white refrigarator white? right?
