A couple of points to note: Clarks' windshield was cut lower on the left side. You can kind of see how I did it in this picture: Also his rear view mirrors were staggered - the one of the left was set much farther back than the one on the right.

I wish Michael and Calvin the best of success in the sales for these updates which have been sorely needed since the kit was first injected all those years ago! Jordan

This upgrade kit is freakin' awesome! If my cars come out half as nice as Michael's it was worth every penny! They are my next project, I will post a pic or two of the Gurney Lotus I built over 40 years ago as a comparison! Thanks to all that contributed to this upgrade kit in ANY way.

Wow! I placed my order first thing Sunday morning, and it arrives in the mail on Wednesday! Fantastic service, and it looks terrific, too. Not sure when I'll get to building it, but sure glad I have it. Just a question for Michael, though: Any idea when you may have the 1963 tires available separately again? I've started building Parnelli's Ol' Calhoun after buying Calvin's improved nose/windscreen set, and would love to order a set of these tires to replace the kit ones. Thanks for the upgrade kit! No idea at this time. I can't keep anything in stock Except Buick engines - if anyone wants one, I have two left and I have no plans to make them available again.

What's the cost of the kit?
I followed Michael's instructions:
"Temporarily out of stock - Click add to Shopping Cart and go through checkout to be notified when available (you won't be charged at this time)"
But I get the following message when I follow his instructions:
"Zero Total not allowed for PayPal Checkout"
Any suggestions?

Just wait 'tel Michael announces on this thread that he has more. We don't sell things secretively - we announce it.

I have seven more kits available. These will probably be the last for a short while as production at our Washington State facility has temporarily shut down due to cold weather

These will probably be the last for a short while as production at our Washington State facility has temporarily shut down due to cold weather Yeah and its making me mad, especially as it keeps on getting colder as the days tick on..... Right now its a conformable 9....for Polar Bears! If I cant get the shop up over 60 degrees then resin just doesn't flat work at all! Plus propane cost is outrageous and the tank currently only has a few pounds left.....it cost $500 to get if filled up. I just looked at the five day.......FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! classic.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=990052 deg Tonight!

Oh my is that cold? It's only -25C/-9F where I am! In the heat of the day! You and Calvin are making me feel guilty for bitching when it dips into the low 50s here in Nor-Cal. Over 40 years living in paradise weather-wise (San Diego) can spoil you. MJ

It's up to 8 here right now. My office is in the basement - which is a walkout so it has all sorts of windows and a door wall to suck the heat out. Fortuantely there's also a fireplace but the biggest heat loss comes from the crawl space. I have a thermometer on my desk and one on the floor by the craw space - there can be a 25° difference in temperature. Yesterday the crawlspace thermometer never got above 55 even though at my desk it was up to 80. ... of course at foot level under my desk it was probably about 65.
