Very KOOL! I love all the nice detail! You'll get a lot of complements on this one! Jordan aka: "The Revell Reynard Guru" will freak out when he sees this tomorrow morning.

Very nice build. I love how these models come together. Very nice job on the paint. The decals are superb you must know someone in the business. Awesome job on this one. I love the engine detail and it looks great when it is all put together.

Shows what a nice job can be done with this kit. Detail painting makes the kit and Kevin's engine look great. The new IndyCal flourescent red decals make Dario's car pop with the day glo numbers and nose marker. We really have some great suppliers these days guys, and they are making some big investments in our niche of the hobby - make sure you support them!!
What's the radiator material? That's the first time I've seen that piece on this build.
I have enjoyed watching this one, thank you so much for sharing it with us, Michael, it was excellent!

The radiator is just a piece from the parts bin. Got lots of those laying around.

You know your polishing jobs are always amazing! So you use Turtle wax? Back when I tried to polish my 1998 KOOL car, it almost rubbed the Testors green right off using Tamiya Compound.

This turned out really nice, Michael, but then your builds always do. I have this on my to do pile. What is the issue with the MCW paint? Which kit did you use as a base?

A few years ago I bought a Opti-Visor magnifier at a yard sale for $5.00, 1960 was the date on the receipt in the box but it was like brand new, the headband was cracked due to age, but I ordered a new one from Opti-Visor and it was perfect. That was maybe the best $5.00 I ever spent, it changed the way I build models bringing a new dimension to detailing and scratchbuilding. I could now see even the most minute detail, measure and fit styrene down to the thousandth making body work less work by virtually eliminating filler. I could go on and on but I think you the idea.. Invest in one if you can!! Chris

Michael, are the engine decals in the kit or on your sheet? (If not do you offer them?) I have a couple of the engines, the detailing and decals make it very convincing. Great Job on this car. It makes me want to get going on the Studio 27 2001 Nakano/Fernandez Racing/Avex kit I have been collecting detail parts for.. Thanks for this WIP it gave me some ideas.. Chris

Its the most.... or the Randy Ayers' Nascar Modeling Forum generic response. I love that.... Great job Michael your really making me want to beg the wife to allow me to yet spend more money. The engine just looks so good sitting in the chassis...very nice.

I'm really impressed with the cockpit. The seat belts look amazing...
Can you provide a close up and maybe some additional detail on how you created such detail in the cockpit? A close up would be very nice to better see what you did.
Thanks!!

The seat belts are the seat belts I sell on my website. Other than that there really is nothing to show of the cockpit.

How bad is the Testors Gloss Green with your decals? Is there a Tamiya Green?

The lettering is decal, the rest is paint Michael, I’m getting ready to use Kevin’s engine in a Reynard kit. Do you have the “Honda Indy” script on any of your sheets? Paul Erlendson

Paul Erlendson Paul for some reason I have a spare set, you are welcome to them. Now if Michael had the Toyota version that would be great…
