Hello, my name is Michel Maheu I'm using signmike for years as a web name. I'm a sign artist for 30 + yrs so the name sign...mike.
I modeled race cars for 18 years now and I've been a race car fan since Lotus and Jim Clark came to Indy... I've followed car racing since then.
I was web searching for the right colour for the turbine cars and found this forum. I loved it so much that I decided to register.
I hope to find friends that share the same passion for Indy cars and car racing in general in here.

Welcome!
Most of us use a new can of Tamiya TS-36 Fluoresent red for our STP or Turbine cars.....

Welcome Mike, my love of Indy started with Clark also. I've also done some sign painting in my day!

Hey thanks a lot I've painted an MPC Lotus Turbine car with fluorecent red decanted in my touch up gun but I never took it to contest cause I was'nt sure if the colour was fluorescent or just an orangy red. So that's great I'll take pictures now

In your days, does it means you painted those sign by hand. I did for almost 20 yrs
