It's been a while since I've been on the board. These are the two latest builds I've achieved recently, built while convalescing from a Heart Attack. I know they not 1/24 statics, these are my usual 1/32nd slot cars, and yes the do run, and quite well too. Chris

Looks great Chris - glad to see you back!
I'm guessing #12 is France 1962 and #5 is South Africa 1965?

Nice job with these. I loved the F1 period when the cars wore their country's colors. All over by the late '60s. Jim

I love 60's Lotuses.... er Loti, or... um... well you know what I mean! These are great. We do occasionally see slot car stuff here but I guess not a whole lot. Anyways, we accept all types and scales. Great builds, I hope they helped in your recovery.

Fantastic! Beutiful models of two of my all time favorites, driven by my all time favorite. (I don't think that Vettel or Schumacher could carry Jimmy's helmet, so I am biased)
Thanks for sharing! MJ

I agree that these are wonderful. I may never race my slot cars (1/24) again, but I loved it while I had it!! I can also agree about carrying Jimmy's helmet, too. I wonder what jimmy would have thought about today's F1 Circus.

Patrick, I think the current climate in F1 would have driven Jimmy back to the farm. Pardon the pun
